Woodpeckers or Robins, whichever one you see the most, will love this fun and easy craft. New and improved bird feeders are being invented and shipped to many stores including Fleet Farm and Walmart. But what if you could make a cheaper feeder? One where the bird will eat everything, so there will be nothing left. When I first made these feeders, all the birds loved me. Now I am able to see a variety of birds every time I look out the window.
How to make Homemade Apple Birdseed Bird Feeders
Supplies you will need to make a bird crazy treat:
First, you will need to bring your water to a boil and add gelatine, then stir till it’s completely dissolved.
Next, add the gelatine to your bowl of birdseed and mix.
Now cut the apples you chose in half. Cut the core of the apple out, you can cut the core into whichever shape you desire.
After you cut the core out, you will fill the hollowed area with your birdseed and put in the fridge once your done for about 1-2 hours or until firm.
