Do you have a bunch of pallets laying around taking up space? Well if you do I have a easy, creative, and fun project for you to turn your pallets into a cute decoration. A fall decorations that is, for the outside of your house or inside. Plus you can do this project with a parent. Personally I love making things with my parents because I get to spend that valuable time with them and never forget it. I love projects that I can do with my dad because with both of our minds combined we come up with many different and create things to do. Wait until you see this project we did and it only takes a few simple steps.
First you are going to find all the supplies you need.
-one pallet
-orange spray paint (for wood)
-brown spray paint (for wood)
-some kind of saw to cut the pallet into a pumpkin
-tape measure
-a pen
Then you are going to take your tape measure and start measuring the different boards of the pallet. The center one the longest then you measure shorter lengthens out. About 2 inches shorter as you go out. Mark them with your pen.
Then you will take whatever saw you have and follow those marks to form a oval like a pumpkin. You can almost freely do this because you are just making it pumpkin shaped.
Next you are going to step back and look at how even you made it. My dad and I did not succeed at this. So start measuring again from the center and make a mark at how many inches you are off.
Then you will follow those marks and cut the extra inches off the boards.
You then will start to spray paint your pumpkin orange along with the stem brown.
Once you have finished painting you may add a cute quote or you are completely done and it's time to set outside or inside. Easy right?
