Reconstructed Pallets

Do you have any pallets just lying around that you could reconstruct into something way more beautiful? Well I have an idea for you. A idea that will spruce your house up and use up those pallets. This project helped me find my creative self and create something that reflects who I am. By the way, it is really fun.

First you need to get your supplies:

-one pallet
-something to cut the pallet
-white paint
-red paint
-paint brushes
-water bowl
-nails
-hammer

Then you will take your pallet and whatever you are using to cut it with and cut little sections out.

Next you will line them up and nail them all together. It should look something like this.IMG_8405.JPG

You will then sand the boards so they are smooth. It will make it a lot easier to paint on.

After that it's time to start painting whatever you want on it. I painted a sang that represents who I am.

Once you have finished painting your design you can hang it up or do whatever you want with it. Enjoy( :

  1. What size is your finished sign? How much pain did you use?

    1. The finished size was about 2'x2'. It barely took that much paint. I just used those little bottles of paint you can get from Walmart for like two bucks.
