All Star Cheer Hair (minus the bow)

IMG_5598.JPGIMG_5599.JPG

What you will need:
  • Brush
  • Comb
  • Bobby Pins
  • 2 Hair ties (depending on hair thickness)
  • Dry Shampoo (or volumizing powder, but I like dry shampoo better and it’s cheaper)
  • Hair spray (Heavy Duty)
  • Cheer bow (I did not have one at the time!)

First you want to start by brushing out the hair really good and spraying dry shampoo all over the roots, massage it to activate and make it voluminous!

Next you want to take a little section of hair from the front.  Start back combing or teasing the hair to make a little poof in the front! After teasing the hair, comb over the top of the poof to smooth it out.
Lightly cover the tease and pin it!IMG_5609.PNGIMG_5593.JPGIMG_5595.JPG

After that, put it in a high pony and close to the poof because that is where we would normally put the bow!  Once it is in the ponytail, flip the ponytail over and start teasing! Remember to take only small sections at a time.  Once you have a section, spray it with hairspray and start teasing it. The reason for hairspray is because once you're cheering, it could fall out and you don’t want that! After you complete this, put in the bow and you're all done! You want your hair big the whole time.

The end result should look like this!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial just as much as I would when I was just getting into this! I can’t wait to use this for winter cheer!
