Homecoming

Its homecoming week at Baldwin -Woodville High School. Great time to make these tasty football treats. Its a perfect snack after we win the big game! That time is coming up soon so we better get this recipe started.

In a large pan, melt the butter on a low heat. Then add the marshmallows and and stir until melted.

Remove from the heat and add peanut butter. Stir well.

Add the rice crispies and stir until all the rice crispies are evenly coated.

Grease a 9x13 pan. (This makes removal much easier)

Cool slightly, Then press down in cake pan.

Cool for about 30 minutes so the rice crispies setup.
Flip the treats onto a cutting board, and use a football shaped cookie cutter to cut the football shape out.
Make sure you press firmly to get the perfect shape. We used the cookie cutter to get an outline and then finished cutting them out with a knife. A knife isn't always necessary but it makes this process simpler.

Now its time to decorate with frosting.
And there you have it.  Treats for the BIG Game.  Go Hawks!
